January 29th through February 3rd is Catholic Schools Week. St. Viator School and Parish celebrate this week beginning with Mass on Sunday at 10 AM. For a complete schedule of the week's activities please click here.
Registration forms for current students went home on January 17th. Your completed form together with your child's registration fee is due by February 3rd. The scheduled time for the Junior Varsity Volleyball tryouts has been changed. The tryout is still on Tuesday, January 31st but does not begin until 4:30 PM and finishes at 6:00 PM. Students must be picked up at the end of the school day and brought back to the gym at 4:30.
In accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada (NRS 453,454, 639) and guidelines put forth by the Clark County School District, our school health office will no longer be able to distribute over-the-counter medication, including cough drops, without a written prescription from their primary care provider. The prescription must include instructions for dosage. All non-prescribed medications can be picked up in the office on Friday, January 27, 2012.
Parents should make every effort to avoid the necessity of medicating students during school hours. When medication is needed during the day, please bring in the medication with a prescription for dosing and a signed parent medication permission form. There are no exceptions to this policy.

PTO MEETING AGENDA: In order to conduct an effective PTO meeting, all items for discussion must be submitted to the PTO President at least one week in advance either by phone or email. This is to determine if the PTO meeting is the appropriate venue for this topic. All items submitted will be referred to the proper channels.
